garden glimpses

Every now and then, I grab my camera and take a walk around our yard snapping photos of plants and flowers that catch my eye. Sometimes I want to document the progression of plant growth. Other times it’s the vivid colors which beckon me to record them. Usually, it’s just that I’m captivated by beauty and want to have a memory of what moved me.

Early one morning a few weeks ago, my husband and I went out to sit in our Adirondack chairs to enjoy our coffee together. Sitting quietly as the sun rose higher, I noticed the dew had drenched every blade of grass and was even balanced at the tips of our hostas. Here are a few pictures from that morning.

    Kris,

Absolutely love the pics! What is so precious is having time, or rather taking time to glory in Gods amazing creation. Over the years I have gotten into bird watching, even whistleing back a response. I take pics of flowers ( usually when traveling) and marvel at Gods creativity. My kids think I’m silly too.
One day they will more than likely do the same things. That makes me smile!
